About Shop-N-Shop

Shop-n-Shop was founded in the year 2000 by Shankar, who took on the role of the CEO. His wife, Neeta, was the Chief Operations Officer (COO), and their trusted friend, Rajesh, was the Finance Manager. They started the company with a limited product line of personal care products. Headquartered in Hyderabad, a metropolitan city in Southern India, the company slowly expanded its operations across the Southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

By 2014, the company had spread itself across several lines of business such as fashion, general merchandise, electronics, home furniture, e-tailing, etc. With a staff strength of 1000, the company was now serving its customers through 150 specialty stores across the state. The company’s most popular brands included High Fashion, a chain of fashion outlets, Aap ka Bazaar, a hypermarket chain, and Rasoi, a supermarket chain.

As the company was medium sized in its operations, the existing staff were performing overlapping tasks and overall coordination was informal while supervision was direct.
